How the launchpad works

Every token created through Hey Seily starts on a bonding curve and, if it raises enough, graduates into a permanent Uniswap v4 pool.

On the curve

  • The curve itself is the counterparty. There is always liquidity to buy from or sell back into.
  • Each buy moves the price up along the curve, each sell moves it back down.
  • Funds raised are held by the curve contract until the funding target is reached.

Graduation

  1. 1The curve reaches its funding target.
  2. 2Curve trading closes: buys and sells against the curve stop being accepted.
  3. 3The raised amount, plus a matching share of tokens priced at the curve's final price, moves into a permanent Uniswap v4 position. Tokens left over are burned so the price does not gap on arrival.
  4. 4Trading continues in that pool, with the same fee split still applied by the pool's hook.

Important

Between the curve closing and the liquidity landing in the pool, the token cannot be traded. If a launch appears stuck at that point, its liquidity has not been migrated yet.

The fee split

Every buy and every sell pays a 1 percent fee, on the curve and in the pool after graduation alike. That fee is split five ways: Protocol and Buyback are fixed, and the rest is divided by whoever created the token.
