Fees
Hey Seily charges a fee on launchpad trading only. Everything else costs nothing beyond the network fee you would pay anyway.
What each action costs
| Action | Hey Seily fee | Also pays |
|---|---|---|
| Portfolio | None | Nothing, it is a read |
| Send | None | Network fee |
| Swap outside the launchpad | None | Network fee and the pool's own fee |
| Launch a token | None | Network fee, plus your first buy if you set one |
| Buy or sell a launch token | 1 percent of the trade | Network fee |
Note
The 1 percent applies to both buys and sells, and it stays the same after a launch graduates. The Uniswap v4 pool it moves into is created with a zero LP fee, so the same 1 percent is collected by the pool's hook rather than stacked on top of a second fee.
Where that 1 percent goes
The fee is split five ways. Protocol and Buyback are fixed for every launch; the remaining 85 percent is divided by whoever created the token.
| Share of the fee | Goes to | Set by |
|---|---|---|
| 5 percent | Protocol | Fixed |
| 10 percent | Buyback of $SEILY | Fixed |
| Up to 85 percent | Developer, the token's creator | Creator, at launch |
| Part of that 85 percent | Holders of the token | Creator, at launch |
| Part of that 85 percent | Lottery, paid to one random holder | Creator, at launch |
Note
A token launched from a post always gives the full 85 percent to the developer. Splitting it with holders or a lottery can only be chosen on the website.
How the shares are paid out
- Protocol and Buyback are sent to their wallets on every single trade.
- Developer accrues on the contract and the creator claims it whenever they want, from the token page.
- Holders and Lottery accrue too, and are distributed periodically (hourly by default) rather than on every trade.
